From Emily's Music Lessons
Hello! My name is Emily Layher. My love for music began at an early age. I started learning piano when I was four years old. Over the years I have continued to add to my musical knowledge by participating in choir, symphonic band, guitar, performances and advanced music theory. In college I was a member of the Advanced Orchestra and Piano Ensemble. I have been teaching students age six to adult since 2005. I currently offer private lessons at my home studio, located in Rocklin CA. I instruct students in piano, guitar, ukulele, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, and voice. I believe music fundamentals and theory are a very important part of learning any instrument, and it is a big part of every lesson I teach.

Emily's Music Lessons rock's. My six year old Grandaughter is receiving piano lessons from Kenny. She is doing very well and looks so forward to her lessons each week. Kenny makes it fun to learn and he is super patient with her.
Also, my eight year old grandaughter is receiving ukulele lessons from Danielle. She loves Danielle and her fun way of teaching music and is doing very well. I'm so happy I learned about Emily's Music Lessons.

My daughter has Danielle for piano and shes loving her lessons! She's always excited to come and learn! This is her first month! Note: If your allergic to cats you might have to wait outside or in your car because the room def smells like cats or a litter box, my husband can't take her because it makes his allergies really bad!
We are really happy we found Emily for our daughter's piano lessons. After trying two other teachers in the area that just weren't a great fit for us, Emily has been wonderful and so easy to work with. Our 8-year-old has been taking lessons with Emily for about six months now. Emily has been kind, patient and encouraging. At the same time she keeps our daughter on task and sets goals to keep her challenged. This combination has been a great fit for our daughter. She sits down several times a day to practice without us ever asking. She's truly enjoying her lessons and that makes me a happy mom. Emily also makes it really easy for us to schedule our lessons and make-up for missed lessons, which is so appreciated.
