Sunshine Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation is a caring facility dedicated to helping injured and orphaned wildlife. Customers share their positive experiences with the staff, who take the time to explain the care processes for animals like pigeons, tortoises, and crows. It is important to note that this is a non-profit organization, and there is often only one person working there, making it a challenge to always answer the phone. Visitors describe the staff as knowledgeable and kind, capable of speaking fluent Spanish, fluent English, and fluent French. The facility operates on donations, and many express their support for the cause. The staff's commitment to animal welfare and willingness to assist, even beyond operating hours, greatly impacts the community. Sunshine Haven encourages donations to continue their important work in wildlife rehabilitation. It is essential for visitors to call ahead to make arrangements and confirm the location, as it is a private, gated facility.
I am so thankful for her help with an injured hummingbird that was lying lifeless on the ground after hitting the glass door. This place was so awesome, I can’t say thank you enough for your help. She has a huge heart and deep knowledge of the wildlife she cares for. She has multiple animals she is caring for, and does this out of the kindness of her heart. I absolutely recommend
Sunshine Haven was recommended to me through great friends! My husband found two baby pigeons in a sign that was being removed and brought them home. He had me search for a rescue. He took the babies to Sunshine Haven and said the woman was so happy to take them in and take care of them until they would be ready to fly out on their own. We are both so happy that they are safe in loving arms. Thank you for all the love and care you give to the wildlife. God bless you! Ray & Carol

She can't always answer the phone because she's doing this all alone. Honestly idk how she does it! There are so many sweet animals there and she has a regular job too and does this! So, if she… read full review
