A pigeon flew straight into the window head first and plopped down in shock. Took it to sunshine haven and they cared for "her." Said she would be fine and back into flight in 6 weeks. What a relief!

Amazing place. I see the vision the Dr. has for the place, and after she took the California desert tortoise I found in my neighborhood, I needed to donate $ to help her cause. She took the time to show me the condition of the turtle/tortoise, how she was going to help it, and its temporary home. My young adult children accompanied me as I want them to also do the right thing. I hope people help donate.

We had a crow in our backyard, couldn't fly and we thought was sick. Took the crow to this place and they said they will care for her. From what it seemed it was a healthy crow with just bruised wing. The crow was very young and a female.They normally close at 3 but since we called Carolyn and told we are coming, she stayed longer and helped us out.I am so happy that people like her exist. They operate on charities.Please donate and help save the animals.
