I could never even begin to say enough great things about Sensei Amy and Sensei Royce (sorry if I spelled that wrong). My son has been in occupational therapy for major and fine motor skills for years now. He also is in special education classes. But ever since he started attending classes at Sensei Amy's dojo he has improved so much that it warms my heart. Both sensei's are so patient and kind yet really push for the kids to learn discipline and respect. My son is excited to go every class. Thank you so much for all that you give to the children and for being a light in my son's world.
Great Sensei Amy. Professional, organized, informative, reliable, excellent karate teacher. She helped our over active grandson to be focused, learn to follow directions and learn. Our shy granddaughter has gained more confidence and the joy of promotion. I recommend this class. A much better experience than our previous school.
I can't say enough about Riverside Shotokan Karate. My son has been learning karate from Sensei Hung for the last 6 months. Sensei Hung is such a special and unique teacher. She expects and teaches the children to be courteous, good listeners, strong leaders, helpful and to practice self-control and have integrity. Her approach with the kids is firm but kind and she demands that they do their best at all times. My 5 year old son has a short attention span and can be sensitive at times. Since working with Sensei Hung, his behavior, listening and confidence have grown and improved.
