Major K Music offers a unique approach to music education, combining the Kodaly and Suzuki methods to create a personalized learning experience for each student. Students can learn Piano, Guitar, Voice, Drama and Theatre, Voiceover, and Music Production in a supportive and encouraging environment. With in-home, in-studio, and online lessons available, students can learn at their own pace and convenience. The school's experienced teachers, such as Milton, provide patient and intuitive guidance, helping students build confidence and skills in their chosen instrument or genre. Students can expect to learn music theory, musicianship, and performance skills, and even showcase their talents in annual shows and other events. With a focus on individualized learning and mentorship, Major K Music has helped students of all ages thrive and achieve their musical goals.
My son has been taking virtual piano lessons with Milton (we’re in NJ and Milton is based in CA) since 2020 and has been thriving. Milton is so patient and encouraging with my son to the point where he’s been able to perform at church several times, at his school talent show and the annual show Milton holds for his students. When people find out my son learned the piano 100% virtually they are impressed with his skill and ability and I would say that’s a testament to Milton’s teaching. Would highly recommend working with Milton.
Milton is an amazing, patient, knowledgeable and intuitive teacher. It can be difficult to learn something new as an adult. You might fear looking or sounding silly, and being out of your comfort zone can make it hard to know where and how to begin. I was EXTREMELY lucky to find Milton. He has been encouraging and patient, and learning a new skill for the pure joy of singing has been a great experience because of his guidance. I look forward to each lesson, and to making mistakes and learning from them. I can't recommend Milton and his school highly enough.
My son has been Milton's student since 2018. Milton is fun, encouraging and laid back, but also he pushes my son to grow and learn. I feel that Milton has been a mentor to my son and has been a great cheerleader when my son has doubts about his abilities. I highly recommend Milton and Major K Music.
