WOW so many negative reviews! I have had this shop rebuild 3 engines for me and Never had any issues. I had 2 chevy and 1 Honda rebuilt in the last 5 years. It has always taken 1 to 2 weeks to rebuild and none of the engines have had issues as of now. I will have my next chevy engine rebuilt some time this year and I'm hoping it will still be a great experience.

Don’t know why everything is so negative here but, I had a Honda B16 head resurfaced along with a valve job performed. I’ve had the engine together for awhile now and still have great compression. I paid a very fair price for the work and received the head back painted and refreshed wrapped up cleanly.

Note: there were still some shavings left in the head however I feel you should always double check regardless of who did the work. I cleaned the head thoroughly before install

Update: I revisited C&E Machine shop again to have my bottom end refreshed, the bore finish and deck was perfect when I picked up the block. Pricing is very fair no complaints once...read full review

These guys they know what they're doing and I have had two engines currently that they have built for me both of which are still running today without issue so their work is solid and I trust these guys wholeheartedly because they have never done me wrong . These guys will continue to get my business as jobs come up because not only do they give you a fair price but they have proven to me that they are reliable over the last 7 years that I have been dealing with them so take my review as you wish but for me it's a no-brainer!
