I've trusted Advantage Tax Service after stumbling upon them at the Riverside Plaza 20-21 years ago. They've since moved to Tibbetts Street in Riverside. My first tax rep was Delphine Freiling, an absolute tax angel. Not only would she remember my name every year, my tax filings, she'd also remember everything we ever talked about...the good, the bad, and the ugly. I so miss Delphine. Once she retired, Clinton Young took over as my tax slayer. Clinton is very personable and is always up-to-date on the latest tax codes/laws. My son and I live in Anaheim and drive to Advantage in Riverside because we know we're going to be treated with respect, as family. Clinton takes the time to explain and maximize our refunds. He gives great advice and has been so gracious in helping me with tax questions later in the year, if need I'm ashamed to admit my son and I disappeared a few times throughout the years and did our taxes with a local company because they were close...what a pitfall! Awful service! Rude! Completely inept! Needless to say, we got taken and our returns were slaughtered. I'm a lady and don't wish to divulge the name of the company. H&R Block...oops!!!...there goes my proclivity to misbehave. The long and short of it is, Advantage Tax Service is worth a try. You'll be surprised how tax season can be joyful.
