Mike and his team were awesome to work with.
Mike spent a few visits to dialog, understand and recommend ideas which helped build a scope that involved a total demolition of the backyard and rebuild the ideas we wanted. End result was a nice slope ending retaining wall, a hardscape that involved concrete and pavers. His team was amazing (and this included a working Mike) and very focused on the tasks. No job is going to be perfect and Mike and his team got very close. A few cracks in the concrete that need attention but overall we are read for the winter season.

We had three independent quotes for our backyard upgrade all within the same price range. We chose Mike over the others because he followed up on all our questions; he was not pushy; he seemed to understand what we were trying to do. Once he and his crew started work we were impressed by their work ethics. Mike was with them all the time rather than as a remote manager. He kept us up to date on the schedule especially as it applied to concrete pouring. As the crew had to come through an established part of our front yard landscaping he repaired any damage that was caused. Mike is very meticulous and knowledgeable; his design and other recommendations were absolutely spot on. He is an excellent communicator, and, above all else, a very decent and nice guy, who's a pleasure to work with. I’m a retired old guy. I was very impressed with Mike and his 2 man crew. Mike worked WITH his crew. This landscape was on a 5 acre parcel with oak trees. He listened to our concerns: deer resistant plants, no ground cover (rattlesnakes), and drought resistant. He sent us a list of plants and trees that we could look at online. Also because of all the oak trees he based putting plants according to sun exposure.
