One thing our history in Mendocino County has shown is is that it can be frustrating trying to get a tradesperson to respond quickly, sometimes even to get a call back. Most times it's because of demand on their time. It's a joy when we are able to find someone who not only responds quickly, but shows up on time, does quality work, and for a fair price. On a Thursday evening, after being frustrated by calls to our Water District offices, I determined that we had a leak between the meter and the house. Since it was on my side of the meter it's my responsibility. Friday morning I made many calls and predictably, the companies that I reached were booked out. I resorted to our neighborhood group on Facebook and received a couple recommendations for Redwood Rooter. I had not even considered them because I associate the Rooter name with drain service. Don't be fooled... they are much, much more. Tom showed up Friday evening and working together, we isolated where we thought the leak was. We agreed for his crew to show up Monday morning, and they did...right on time. The leak was fixed before noon and they were on their way to the next job by 12:30. Thanks Tom and crew!
Tom is great to work with. There were a lot of tree roots grew into the leach field. Tom came on Tuesday for diagnosis and came back that Saturday with heavy machines to dig up the leach field and cleared out a lot of tree roots. He communicated the problem clearly and was able to follow through with the fix on a timely manner.
