Drum Lessons by Corey

My 15 year old daughter has taken lessons from Corey for a couple years. Corey is easy to work with, affordable and an amazing teacher. He has set up a drum set at our house, fixed broken instruments and helped with school auditions. We highly recommend Corey to anyone wishing to start or improve their music skills.

My step daughter and I have been taking drum lessons together with Corey for almost 2 years now and this is our favorite activity of the week! I was nervous that the lessons would be too focused on theory and potentially discourage us. Neither one of us had ever touched a drum set, so this was all brand new to us. But, Corey does a great job at making it fun! While he does teach some theory because it’s obviously important, he also focuses on having us play and learn a variety of songs. His song selections come with a strategy of introducing you to new sets of skills each time. He’s great at working with children, teens and adults. My daughter started with percussion in middle school. Her band teacher was wonderful, but she wanted to get more individualized instruction. She took private lessons from Corey and also attended several summer camps. Corey is friendly, knowledgeable, easy going and very talented. He was always available for advice and suggestions. My daughter learned a lot and her passion for percussion has continued. She's on drumline in high school now. Highly recommend lessons with Corey!!!
