About Millennia MMA Gym
Millennia MMA Gym is a well-equipped and clean facility with a large mat space. They offer a variety of classes, including grappling in gi and no-gi, wrestling, MMA, and fundamental striking, with a schedule that allows for a seamless transition between classes. This enables students to work on multiple aspects of MMA in one day. The coaches are knowledgeable and experienced, with some having trained top-level fighters. The gym is welcoming and well-structured, making it an ideal place for those who want to learn and compete in multiple martial arts disciplines. The pricing is competitive, with unlimited classes available at a low cost compared to other gyms in the area. Students praise the gym's attention to detail, cleanliness, and modern facilities, including an upstairs room for striking and grappling sessions. However, some reviewers have noted that equal attention is not always given to all students, particularly in group classes.
My grandson loves this place and we like the variety of classes offered for his age range. My only concern is that while I watched him get consistent attention from the instructors, his (female) sparring partner was ignored three times in a row. She even walked up each time after, asking for help and for them to watch her (she was doing the moves incorrectly, but no one was helping her). That really concerned me. :( She was literally asking for help and no one would help her. Finally the fourth time the instructors paid attention to her and helped her form. So just keep an eye to ensure all the kids are getting equal attention.
Millenia has tons of mat space and they’re very clean. There’s an upstairs room where they hold their striking/grappling sessions as well as the main room downstairs. Millenia has been amazing. Working all aspects of martial arts. Grappling in gi, no-gi submission grappling, wrestling, as well as MMA and fundamental striking. The schedule here is amazing. they hold gi/no-gi and striking in the day time as well as evenings so no one has an excuse to not make it to any of their classes. Its convenient because the schedule waterfalls into the next class allowing you to work on multiple aspects of MMA in the same day like No-gi class to wrestling then moving into striking...read full review
It took 1 free trial and my kids were hooked. 1 monthly fee and they can go to all 3, Striking, BJJ and Wrestling classes at both locations! What a deal! Also, the Coaches there are great! My kids love all their coaches at the Rancho Cucamonga location. Coach Ian, Coach Raptor, Coach Chris, Coach Taylor, Coach Kai, Coach Julian, Coach Brian and Coach Ryan! The coaches are not only knowledgeable, but some are pro fighters.
