I want to share my 31 years of experience with plastic surgery websites and internet marketing.

When I first went into my practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, I understood this was one of the most competitive markets in the country. I needed a solid internet marketing company that specializes in plastic surgery. I chose Plastic Surgery Studios after looking at various companies at our annual meeting. As my manager at Plastic Surgery Studios, David developed a great website and a few popular mini-sites at the time.  My main office is in Marin County, and I opened another one in San Francisco at Union Square.  We were off to a great start, and the cosmetic part of the practice began to grow consistently. Plastic Surgery Studios not only provided website design, but also comprehensive internet marketing services, including SEO, content creation, and meta-tag optimization.
After about ten years, I wanted a change: to grow faster, to rank higher in Google search, and to rank for San Francisco and Marin County. So, unfortunately, I left PSS. We parted on good terms with an easy transition.   Over the next 15 years, I went to 3 different companies: one in New York, another in Chicago, and one in North Carolina. Over this period, my main website was penalized and de-indexed due to spam links. I spent significant resources and time trying to get the penalty removed and finally gave up and created a new URL and branding.
I finally got some traction with my websites until the last company of these 15 years started to mismanage, and my internet presence started falling again. The company blamed it on the Russians, one of my competitors hired to sabotage my practice.

I was back to the drawing board. At this point, I was looking for the best in the industry to help me escape this situation.  Over the next six years, I worked with Rosemont Media, Studio III, and DLM, some of the best in the business. They all wanted to produce a new website, and they did. You can imagine the expense.  One of the major issues was the inability to rank well in Google search for my specific keywords, and I expected results with the monthly fees and new website. Maybe I was unrealistic and impatient, but I take some blame.

Over the same six-year period, I have always been in contact with Peter at PSS.  He would always be kind and excited to talk and give me solid advice.  So, at the end of this 6-year journey, I felt a sense of relief and satisfaction as I decided to team up with PSS again, knowing that I was back in reliable hands.

One of my mini-sites created by PSS over 25 years ago was doing well in search. One of the website companies explained we were getting significant traffic, but clients were not staying on the site or converting well. They felt the website could do much better if it were modernized for aesthetics and more advanced coding. I insisted the site needed to, at least as well as before, but expected it to outperform. They promised it would take off, but it tanked!  The website of the 25 years that PSS designed stood up to the test of time, thanks to its user-friendly design, relevant content, and effective SEO strategies.

So, about 18 months ago, I teamed up again with Peter, David, and Brian. We picked up like I always stayed on the team many years ago. Their familiar faces and expertise brought a sense of trust and comfort, making me feel secure and confident in the company's services. They felt I did not need to redo the websites, which was a tremendous savings. The websites have some limitations, but they are acceptable. After alterations in the website's back end, content creation, different and better-targeted meta-tags, etc., my sites are flourishing again.  Most importantly, my Google search ranking for my most important keywords is at the top.
