“Project: Kitchen addition, pantry renovation, and half bathroom renovation
Timeline: Approximately 3–4 months
We decided to work with Bryan because we knew he would build a space where my parents could comfortably retire. Overall, the renovation process went very smoothly. There were a few bumps along the way, but Bryan and his team always pulled through and made things right in the end.
With any renovation project, there will inevitably be hurdles. What matters most is having an honest and reliable contractor you can trust. My dad became very comfortable with the workers, and they all emphasized that Bryan always makes sure the client is happy. The team was also responsive whenever something needed attention and came back promptly to fix issues.
Tips / Considerations
-You will need to hire an architect before Bryan can begin the project. We worked with Serge Mayer, who was excellent and very familiar with the City of Upland permitting process. The architectural planning phase took about 1–2 months.
-Hire a designer early in the process. Bryan and the team made great suggestions, but having a dedicated designer would have helped tremendously with the finer details. Ideally, bring a designer in during the architectural phase so the final result feels cohesive from the beginning. A designer can also help select higher-quality materials, improve the functionality of the space, and provide an additional perspective throughout the renovation.
Would we hire Bryan again?
Absolutely — 100%. The only thing we would do differently is hire a designer from the start.
10-Month Update
About 10 months after the renovation, a few minor issues came up, but Bryan and his team returned and fixed everything at no additional charge. That level of follow-through and customer service really stood out to us.”
