We looked into a lot of options before deciding to re-do our old, beat-up stamped concrete entry with Liquid Coating Designs. Ripping up the concrete next to the foundation and over sewer lines was a concern in our older home, and, at the same time, we wanted something beautiful, easy to maintain and easy to fix should problems arise down the road. Ten years ago we hired LCD to transform our newly purchased home's HUGE backyard that has a pool deck and patios. Pavers and concrete were insanely expensive so we decided on LCD. They did a fantastic job then. Fast forward a few years, we had them do touch ups and sealing. Again, fantastic experience. We live in hilly area and wear and tear took a toll like any hardscape would. Come 2023/2024, we decided it was time to do a complete refresh and update the color palate. The pool decking and the walkway outside of our back door was finished with exposed aggregate concrete. It was about 30-years old and contained several cracks and also several wooden expansion joints in which the wood was rotting. We were not looking forward the expense, time, and mess of removing and replacing the concrete. I saw an advertisement in a home magazine for Liquid Coating which seemed to solve these issues. I made an appointment and Irlanda met us at our home. She had a full presentation on her laptop and answered all of our questions.
