Katie is amazing! When my previous hairdresser retired many years ago, I was in a panic over who was going to cut my hair. Luckily, I found Jacks Salon pretty quickly, and soon learned that Katie can be trusted. I've been getting my hair cut by Katie for years now, and I can confidently say she is the best. As a guy, finding a hairdresser you can trust is crucial, and Katie has never let me down. Every cut is consistently excellent, and she knows exactly what I want. Her attention to detail and friendly personality make each visit a pleasure. If you're looking for a reliable and skilled hairdresser, Katie is the one to see. Highly recommended!

On 8/9/21 the stylist/owner exposed my stepson to Covid and violated the Alameda County mask mandate during a haircut two days before school started! When she told us of her positive Covid status we asked if she was wearing a mask as the law requires (Alameda County Health Order 21-03, effective 8/3/21), she said "no, I never have" and that you "assume the risk" when coming in. Really? No, we don't assume the risk when you willfully violate the law while you hover over a client for 45 minutes breathing in their airspace.
