I have been taking my Golden Retriever’s to Amador Valley Pet Hospital since 1995. The neat thing is that each and every time you make an appointment you and your pet will see Dr Chan as Dr Chan is Amador Valley Pet Hospital. Early on Dr Chan made a point to get to know us and more importantly our dogs. Dr Chan’s expertise shows in the knowledge and care she has provided for our dogs. Dr. Chan has been there for us even in times of emergency. Through the years I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Dr Chan and the support staff at Amador Vally Pet Hospital. I highly recommend Amador Vally Pet Hospital.

If you are looking for avian vet, look no further. Dr. Sara Andre is amazing and knowledgeable with birds. My green cheek conure has extremely overgrown lower beak and I was so hesitant to bring him to any vet because of the trauma he experienced at a different vet clinic recently. He didn’t eat for a week and couldn’t open his left eye after so called beak trimming . I am so glad that I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Andre. She was so gentle with him, able to trim his lower beak and reshape his upper beak in no matter of time. I was so surprised to see my bird so happy and NOT stressed. We were able to get an appointment very quickly, and Dr. Godfrey was very thorough in her examination of our dog, and we appreciated her follow-up suggestions. She advised about prescriptions and boarding options, which we needed since we will be traveling in a few months.
