“Update 5/23/26: I see this special place every 2 weeks at this time. I enjoy the vibes each and every time. There is great convo, laughs and shared stories that will last a lifetime.
I told Deborah that I usually have to curl my hair every morning after getting it done because it is flat every morning. She along with yet amazing stylists decided that I needed less curls and they would teach me how to wrap short hair. Deborah showed me right on the spot with her vibrant color satin head wrap scarves (They are $6 each of you need one). I was too excited to get home and prepare to sleep so I could try it what I learned...lol.
I think my hair will be even cuter daily moving forward AND less maintenance. Thank you ladies!!
Update 4/11/26: This is still my beautician. She did an wonderful job of getting me ready for my event. She has such a beautiful spirit and her energy is unmatched from what I can see. Thank you Deborah for making me look oh so FINER!
I came here after visiting another for some time because I was never fully satisfied with my hair results. My aunt-in-law found this salon online all the way from NC (She's been in the hair game for a very long time and she knows hair greatness).
I texted her and Debora responded same day both via text and phone call. I really appreciated the responsiveness. When we spoke, I explained to her what I needed and my son's of my past experiences with stylist. She assured me that she understood and I was in good hands. I made my appt for 4pm on 3/27.
She was indeed correct.
Debora had an earlier appt when the day came and immediately reached out for me to come in. I ran lol. I appreciated this gesture as well.
Parking in the lot that her salon is in, isn't vast. However, there is street parking around.
The salon has 2 other beauticians that are nice, beautiful and so very welcoming.
The salon It is very clean and it smells so good. The salon has an upscale with an ole' skool feeling. They even had the jams playing throughout. I felt like I was back in my parent's house getting my hair done.
Debora greeted me so warmly. We talked about my hair, what I wanted and what she will do. She cleaned up a choppy cut I received and reported the back so that it could lay flat. Even before the wash, mu pixie was looking hot! She washed me, conditioned me and allowed me to sit with it in my hair for a bit.
Listen..she even introduced me to everyone and them to me. I've never experienced that every. It made me feel seen..acknowledged. Thank you Debora.
She placed me under the dryer after the wash out and then went to work. She curled the mess out of this hair ya'll!! I looked good and still do. I feel so beautiful because of her.
Debora is understanding, great at listening, communicative, knows how to do hair and authentic. She is a real one and if you are looking for a ole' skool hairdresser... she is it. She can do all things through God.
See you in 2 weeks girl!!
Also, I am a lesbian and she was very comfortable talking with me about my wife. She asked questions and made kind comments. Ohhhh.. she even me my wife with a warm welcome and small talk.”
