I designed something that I wanted, and met Big Jay, he took it and made some slight changes. I stopped in later in the week and he had it completed. I found it to be exactly what I wanted. Scheduled an appointment took about two hours, and the work came out perfect. All the staff in the shop was very friendly and courteous, there is a great atmosphere in the shop. I came in on black Friday and got an amazing spider tattoo done. All the staff were very kind and considerate, and my artist was amazing. The name really does sum up the vibe of the place: old fashioned but classy, and a very well run establishment. I checked lots of other tattoo parlors in the area to check for things like blowouts, shaky lines, and art style so I knew which place would be worth my time and money and Old Glory Tattoo definitely checked off all those boxes and surpassed my expectations!

Here's a story and a lesson. Mostly a lesson. Don't get a tattoo on your couch from your ex's friend who isn't a tattoo artist. This was years ago and obviously before my husband. He would never... he'd pay for it. Anyways, I knew what I wanted and when he was done. No one could EVER really tell what it was. I finally decided to go to social media to look for different tattoo artists. I find Matt. Shoot him a message and we finally set up a time and date. I wanted color. Lots of it.
