“On an employee referral from the Glow Skin Gym in Villa Park, I met Cookie from Artiora Beauty. I had said to my esthetician that I was having no luck finding a PMU who would work on my already microbladed brows and that I may have to go back to D.C. where I was from and get them re-done.

Then, Cookies studio, Artiora was given to me. Before I even got to my car, I texted the studio. We exchanged texts and pictures and she (Owner a cookie!) made time for me to pop into her studio for a in person consult. It was a match destined to happen, and I could not be more thrilled! Over 1 year I had been exchanging pictures and messages with 3 PMU from OC and LA (like, 100k IG followers!) and each asked me to laser (or saline remove) my existing microblading, so they could start over. This is despite calling their center a school and each one the greats in the business.

Cookie listened to my asks of a fluffier and denser look, she set my expectations reasonably, and executed- 3.5 hours later and I was done. I am so grateful she took a chance on me and trusted her gut that she could do this despite there being work
beforehand. 100k followers or 1k, it’s really the talent behind the chair that matters. I’m always a fan of the small businesses and Cookie is a mother, a wife, a community member and she cares about her work and her reputation deeply. “My favorite Korean hair stylist has been on a hiatus and I have been on the hunt for someone else to entrust with my hair the past few months. Every time my hair reaches the point where it starts poking my eyes, I have made the decision these past few months to try different highly rated Korean hair salons and stylists to figure out where and who can work with my hair. Since it was my first time at RT7 salon, I made the splurge to book with the kind CEO and lady-running-the-show, Scarlett. I've had my fair share of cheap barber cuts to high-end salons throughout my hair journey and come to realize that the risk of a irreversible botched haircut and the weeks of low self esteem that follow are not worth cheapening out on! Remember folks, quality over quantity! I've collected several pictures of specific traits of what I wanted in my hair cut (one picture for bang parting and length, one picture for sideburns, one picture for curl intensity for my perm, one picture for the back etc) as well as consulting with Scarlett and her years of experience on what she thinks would suit my face and head shape. During the whole experience of my cut and perm, Scarlett and her team were efficient and thorough. While Scarlett also had other customers to tend to, she made sure that no-one was neglected and promptly set timers to make sure the job gets done for everyone. While waiting for the perm solution to set it, I was given complimentary refreshing cold filtered water and snacks. At the end, my hair was shampooed and was blowdried and further cut and adjusted until I was satisfied. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted and the fact that it came out much better than I expected is what made this experience worth it. I have tried Korean hair salons in Irvine, Buena Park and even in Gangnam (in South Korea) by stylists who were well-recognized in their respective fields and who actively work with idols/actors in the Korean industry. I can confidently say that Scarlett's skills are exactly up to par with these industry experts and I am happy to find someone and somewhere who just...knows! I hope Scarlett never quits and if she ever decides to, please please teach your prodigies everything you know because I don't want another hairstylist breakup!“
