East Bay Karate-Do is a highly recommended school that provides a supportive and engaging environment for kids. The teachers are great, and the owner is involved with the youngest students. The school helps kids develop exercise, discipline, and respect, and even encourages introverted children to participate. The instructors are professional and patient, and the studio is always clean and organized.
I am so grateful we found Felipe’s Championship Martial Arts. My 5-year-old is very sensitive, and finding a place that felt welcoming, patient, and understanding was really important to us. From day one, the dojo has been incredibly accepting and supportive, not just of my child, but of our whole family as baby brother comes to practice as an onlooker and can sometimes be fussy.
We joined hoping to help build confidence and community, and we’ve already seen both growing. The senseis do a wonderful job of meeting kids where they are, encouraging them gently, and celebrating every small win. As a shy parent myself, I’ve also felt surprisingly at ease here....read full review
The school is great! They are attentive to the students and helping the kids with structure and stability. They are patient and kind and have many fun activities to help the children socialize more as well. My kids love it, even my youngest can’t wait to start when he’s five. I recommend this dojo to everyone when they ask for good karate place.
My son started training at Felipe’s Championship Martial Arts 3 years ago. The instructors are all amazing and have really helped my son with his confidence and overall fitness. I highly recommend FCMA!
