I live in SLO, and found The Iron Scissor when I had a project on Yelp for styling a wig for a band performance at a Halloween Party. My band plays 80's dance rock so the girls in the band went as the B52's! My regular stylist was unavailable for this project and didn't know of anyone good who knew about synthetic wigs. I posted the project here on Yelp. Monica got back to me right away, on a weekend, (unlike 10 of the other salons I contacted) and gave me clear information that assured me she actually knew about working with synthetic wigs. Kara was such an enjoyable conversationalist, made the time fly by. Showed her a picture of what I was trying to achieve and she nailed it!!! Thank you Kara. Will be returning for trims - will try not to chop it myself again. Very nice environment and close to my home. Thank you Iron Scissors
Stephanie is great. I hate having my hair cut, but she made me feel comfortable and did exactly as I asked. She also asked before putting any product in my hair which I really appreciate. Thank you!
