Dr Horowitz has helped tremendously with my lower back pain! I found Dr Horowitz through Kaiser’s ASH (co-pay program) and have been coming here for about two years now.I have had chronic lower back pain for the last 13 years. Despite getting routine adjustments at The Joint in Pinole, I was still living with a dull, sometimes sharp, chronic back pain.Dr Horowitz doesn’t use spinal manipulation like many other chiropractors. Instead he starts off with a 15 minute heat pad and electrical stimulation pads. After, he decompresses the back with stretches and a massage gun. I have been going to Dr Horowitz for a month now and his chiropractic techniques are helping me. He offers exercises for me to continue to care for myself- he's friendly, knowledgeable, and seems to genuinely care about me getting better. Happy to find him through the insurance network!

I went to Dr. Joel Horowitz's office in Oakland. I have been under chiropractic care since high school. I have seen many different chiropractors. He is one of the best I've ever had. I am sad that I didn't discover his office until a few months before moving back to my hometown. I highly recommend him.
