Stage Gulch Goldens is a thoughtful and thorough breeding program dedicated to promoting excellence and sharing beautiful Golden Retrievers with families. They are described as amazing, kind, and extremely thoughtful breeders who put in extra time and care. Their desire is to provide perfect family companions and phenomenal dogs. They employ a careful and informed program, using OFA testing for eyes, heart, hips, and elbows as well as PennHip and FCI evaluations. Their dogs are also tested for genetic diseases common to the breed to guide breeding decisions. The puppies are raised with love, resulting in well-adjusted dogs noted for their great, incredibly calm, empathetic, loving, and gentle temperaments. My experience in working with Shayla and Jake has been nothing short of phenomenal. I had a lot of pretty serious health issues come up throughout the year that I was supposed to get a puppy from them, and they not only were so kind in working with me to push the litter back, but also were truly there for me as wonderful humans through an extraordinarily difficult time in my life.

StageGulch is the BEST! We have a 4 month old puppy from them and she is perfect. She came home with us at 9 weeks already knowing how to sit and comfortable in crate for training - she is SO smart and has such a great temperament, and she is so beautiful! SG is so thoughtful and thorough with their program, they love this breed and getting to share it with other families through these beautiful puppies! The owners are so kind and great at answering all the questions! We are local so it’s really sweet getting to run into other pups from the StageGulch fam out and about and also being able to do training with them!
Shayla and Jake are amazing people! I got a puppy from them a week ago and they have answered all of my questions. I traveled with my puppy from San Francisco to Mexico and they were very helpful with all the questions I had regarding the trip, I met them in their home, I met my puppy’s mom and I can assure they love all of their dogs, they take care of the puppies with all the love they have. I am super happy to have met them and decided to get ny Bambina from them!
