After speaking with about six different roofing companies for help with a roof leak and to replace some shakes, i felt pretty unsure about the whole process. Every roofer I met wanted to convince me I needed an entirely new roof, instead of just repairing the damaged area like I asked. This made me feel frustrated, especially since I had carefully researched companies, used recommendations from neighbors, and even checked out home service websites, but kept running into the same sales pitches.
