I've used Ortiz Pest 3 times, and they have been a pleasure to work with. Please understand that for rats, they don't just use traps, what they do is they specialize in blocking the access the rats have to your attics and crawl spaces, which is the main thing you have to do to eradicate the issue. Once done, they set traps in your attics and crawl spaces, and come a few times. Eventually, the traps will be empty because they've all been trapped or starved because the rats can't get out. Eventually, rats might create another access hole, at which point you can call Ortiz again to seal off the new hole. We had this happen twice, but it is always a few... read full review

Ortiz called me off of an inquiry I put on home advisor. I had a terrible smell and I knew it was a dead rodent. My handyman tried desperately to find the source of the smell and ended up caulking some areas. Which helped a little, but not enough. I called my current pest control company who told me it was unlikely they would be able to find it and I should just wait till the rodent decays. Tito and Jennifer came out today, due to Elizabeth (scheduler) persistence and coordination skills. Jennifer crawled under my house until she found it and dragged it out. It was an opossum. They cleaned out my RV from the bottom to the main inside. I had some rodent activity and fecal matter to deal with. I would recommend them as they are professional, reasonably priced, and don't make unnecessary recommendations. If I lived locally I would have use them for my home.
