Shells Hair Salon is a very small shop with a rustic beachy vibe. The stylist provides one-on-one service and is great at listening. She is highly skilled with color, creating awesome trendy and vibrant looks, and is also excellent with haircuts and treatments. She handles all hair types well, including very thick curly hair, and is great with kids. Many clients trust her exclusively, driving from other towns for her honest and caring service. She is known for nursing damaged hair back to health at a very competitive, affordable rate.
Love Shell! When I originally came in, I had terribly damaged hair from years of box dye and no trims. She really has nursed my hair back to health and at a very competitive, affordable rate. She is great at what she does (I always get highlights and a trim) and is honest and cares about her clients.
Today I took my two girls to Lashell to get their hair done. We drive from Santa Paula, Ca. to Orcutt, Ca just so Lashell can be the one to do their hair. My girls don’t trust anyone but Lashell.

Lashell has been cutting my hair for years and there is no one I trust more. I have very thick curly hair and I have been very happy with each cut & treatment. My daughter also has my same hair type so naturally when it was time to begin with her first hair cut we saw Lashell. She does great with kids too.
