I highly recommend Goodchild electric. Andrew is very professional, ethical, personable, honest, promt, experienced and a very skilled electrician. I had a very dificult issue to trace down. After a few checks to eliminate some more common causes, He continued to troubleshoot, and after looking into everything possible. He was sure what the problem was, (a wire broken/open somewhere in its run) but he would most likely have to cut away some of the sheetrock. He was so concerned about the extra work it would cause me, he tried everything he could come up with to fix the problem without having to cut into the sheetrock, but it was decided he had to. His next problem was to figure out where along the run to cut. He didn't want to cut sections along the entire run searching for the problem. Using his skills and experience, he picked a spot and very carefully cut out a section of the sheetrock and found the issue on his very first cut. A rodent had chewed through a wire. He did have to cut a little more sheetrock out to correct the problem, but again he carefully and skillfully cut out what he needed. He ran a new wire correctly, (not splicing) and he even carefully put the sheetrock back in place, so very little work was needed to patch it up.
I highly recommend Goodchild electric. Andrew has come by on a couple occasions and fixed all of my amateur mistakes. Before you do any electrical work, I highly recommend you give Andrew a call! I know I will from now on.
