The sandwiches were pretty decent, and the fact that they carry so many beloved German brands gave me extreme nostalgia. This place is definitely a neat find. I think my boyfriend ordered the Reuben with the Kielbasa inside, but not 100% sure. I had the pastrami, and liked how everything was packaged. The sandwiches were massive! I need to come back and try more things, as well as buy more German products. They don't have an extensive dairy section, but they have sweets, meats, and some other snacks and condiments. Mattern is the jam! This place is no frills, it's just a tiny little store with a few tables and a good selection of German groceries. The people who work here are always friendly and eager to help and answer any questions you have. Their sandwiches are amazing. The fried pork chop is my favorite, my husband loves their rueben. The rolls they use are so delicious. The sandwiches are very large too, we always split one or take 1/2 home for the next day. Their homemade sausages though, are what keep me coming back!
