We had a hidden leak in the irrigation system which was not visible. I had 3 companies for estimates. One I won't mention, very unimpressive. The other 2 were essentially identical on the description of the leak problem and on both the repair needed and cost. Both were very direct and professional, providing clear direct answers. I ended up taking the first offer, slightly larger discount, but my brother-in-law needed a plumber at the same time. Jim was polite and professional, called my B.I.L first and went over immediately. Was given the job, did a professional job & fixed the problem and cleaned up after very well. If I need another job in the future, I'll call DeGennaro for the attitude, professionalism, prompt response, and very reasonable pricing. Call them - they're a good service.
GREAT EXPERIENCE! I had a big leak under the kitchen sink. Called several places but DeGennaro Plumbing could come the same day. The plumber found that the trash can under the sink had bumped the drain pipe loose. He tightened it back up and stayed through a dishwasher cycle to be sure nothing leaked. Then he said THERE WAS NO CHARGE because nothing was broken! He just said "Think of us next time you need a plumber.". Who does that?Service: Plumbing pipe repair
Finally, a plumbing company that is 100% honest, very responsive and charges a very fair price! My main line was totally clogged with roots. Dirty water was backing up in my tub and my toilet would not flush. I hired a different contractor that came out, charged a hefty fee, only to penetrate a small hole in the clog (to drain the water) and run a camera through the line. I was told that they would have to use a high pressure water jet to clear the line and that they would not be available to do the work until 4 days later. They quoted me an outrageous price! I then called JD Plumbing and got to talk to the owner (James himself) and Danny S., a plumber, to get a second opinion. They told me that a water jet is not necessary to clear the line and in fact there was significant risk that my bathroom could be flooded by high velocity water backing up and overflowing my toilet. Danny came out sharply at 8:00 AM the next day and cleared the line in about an hour. I ended up paying less than one third of total cost had I followed through with the first company that came out. I was very impressed that the owner would take the time to talk with me and be so truthful. Danny was awesome! A very professional, hard working and supper friendly guy. A stressful experience with a very good ending thanks to JD Plumbing.
