“I definitely want to give Rose a great review. I drive by her salon frequently to and from home. I stopped in and spoke with Rose and made an appointment. Rose asked what I wanted done. I told her simply that I wanted her to shape my style and I wanted blonde highlights. I said I trusted her to do the job.
She did amazing. I have very fine silky hair. She gave a cut that made my hair look full and the highlights look great

“I stumbled across this place on my way to another place to get my haircut and I was pleasantly surprised. I said to myself, “this looks like a REAL BARBER SHOP” and it was. I love the old school vibe with the checker board floor and the sports memorabilia all over the walls. It’s a huge space with lots of room to just hang out if that’s your thing. I’m pretty sure the guy that cut my hair was the owner but I didn’t catch his name. I’m guessing he was a Lopez since the sign on the wall says “Lopez Corner”. He was a great guy, old school and easy to talk to. No nonsense and understands the value of customer service. I didn’t realize that he is a cash only shop so I didn’t have enough cash to pay in full. He is so cool, he told me whatever I have is enough. I really appreciated his good nature and great service. The haircut was great, I can’t recommend this shop enough. Although I live over an hour away I’m certain I’ll be back when I need another cut. If you’re not into the foo foo cut and want an old school barber you have to try Percy Avenue Barber Shop.“

Her love of people was so apparent from the first conversation. I see how kindly everyone is treated at the salon. Linda answered all my questions, gave her recommendations and insight on my hair type and lifestyle needs, basically kept me very involved in the whole process. The shop has been updated and is always clean & tidy. The two other hairstylists Tanna & Julie are very experienced, good at what they do, & really nice ladies. Their nail tech stays very busy and does great nails too!
