One satisfied customer drove over an hour to bring their geriatric cat, which was experiencing a sudden and severe upper respiratory infection. The cat received immediate care from Dr. Llamas and the staff, who were praised for their prompt attention, expertise, and compassion. The cat was given an IV for dehydration, a course of antibiotics, and prescription food, and is now on the road to recovery.
Another customer shared their positive experience with a stray dog of unknown history. The staff at Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital were praised for their patience, knowledge, and helpfulness. They were contrasted with a previous veterinarian who was described as condescending, impatient, and overcharging for "reactive" care. The customer expressed gratitude for the proactive help and honesty they received at the Oceanside location.
Additionally, a customer highlighted the hospital's friendly and knowledgeable staff, who were able to address all their questions and concerns while being gentle with their cat. The customer appreciated the reasonable prices and the absence of waiting time. Overall, Vetco Total Care Animal Hospital is a trusted and highly recommended veterinary hospital in Oceanside.
Great vet experience! We have gone to many different vets over the years and this is now our favorite. He treated the exact issue we came in for- didn’t try to get me to pay for extra things. Very knowledgeable, friendly and our treatment was effective. Great price too! Overall highly recommend this vetco location!
Took my cat in for an exam and a concern that I had about him. Dr. Donnelly was very thorough in the examination and he kindly addressed my concerns. He was very informative and took the time to make sure I understood my cat's issues and made sure I understood the treatment plan. His vet tech Sara was very gentle and sweet to my cat. She was also very knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely recommend bringing your pets to see both Dr. Donnelly and Sara.
This was my first visit. Signed up my 2 cats for annual wellness plan. Both cats had a physical exam. I really liked the vibe here and their knowledge and handling of my cats. Both the vet (Dr. Link) and the technician (Laura) were super helpful and answered all my questions. Discovered that one cat has gingivitis and will need a dental cleaning. The technician (Laura) was fantastic in helping me download and use my Petco Rewards points on my phone (I'm 79 and struggle with phone stuff).
