I was looking to get a haircut and I was driving to the downtown Oceanside area and then I discovered the Mission Square Barbershop.
Mission Square Barbershop is located on Mission Avenue, across the street from the high school, within the Walmart shopping center. Admittedly, they may be a little tricky to find, because they are tucked all the way in the corner.
Parking may be tricky due to the lack of specific spaces. Although they share a lot with the shopping center, most of the spaces in front are labeled for two hours only. Although, I have never seen any patrol actually for this time restriction.
So last Saturday, I took my youngest son to Mission Square Barbershop. This is the shop I use to go to back when I was in the Marines...got to say, NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!!
After 18 years, they still have really reasonable prices, do a phenomenal job and a clean facility! Johnny was my son's barber. He was extremely personable and engaging with unbeatable attention to detail.
Makes me want to take an 17 hour round trip drive every other week for a haircut! Can't get a good Marine High Reg in the Air Force town I live in now.

Great place to get military like haircuts, clean place and great staff. I enjoy going to get my haircut once a week. Javier is my favorite barber because he is fast and knows the haircut that I like.
