“My fur babies and I have been fighting 2 of them having terminal cancer for over 10 months now. Been such a heartbreaking year. My neighbor recommended Oceanside Veterinary Hospital at the beginning of this ordeal. That was nothing less than a blessing. Dr. Allie, who is a smart cookie, a really great veterinarian, and oh so kind and wonderful treated my young 104 pound Golden, Cody, and recommended a couple specialty cancer pet hospitals. The VCA on Faraday in Carlsbad did wonders with palliative radiation. My boy thought he was a puppy again after his pain level was reduced. Fast forward to 2 days ago..my old, beautiful German Shepherd, Sahara, lost her battle with cancer. Dr. Allie, Kelly and all the staff @ OVH were so kind and led my girl to Rainbow Bridge with so much love, plus Dr. Allie gave Sahara an amazing last treat that was scarfed down in a minute! Yes, Sahara crossed the bridge knowing she was loved..I miss you my sweet baby girl.
Unfortunately, my Golden pulled a dumb doggy trick, blindsided me and jumped out of the car before I could stop him, messing up his cancer leg. Dr. Allie and staff worked us in before the holiday closure even tho they were slammed with appointments.
Oceanside Veterinary Hospital has doctors that are excellent, a kind, competent staff and they all genuinely care for the pets they treat. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart..my fur kids are my world and I am confident you provide them the best care possible.”
