Do not use this company! They did shoddy work, tried to increase the price by $3000 after they started the job. They shot a nail into a water line, walked off the job after my husband told them to correct a few things, they refused and then sued my husband for unfinished work.. In my opinion, they are a scam!
Stay Away from this company of Liars, Thieves and Shoddy Work. Don't fall for the nice christian guy act that Jorge the owner puts on, it's just a smoke screen to cover his deceit and dishonesty. We had them install carpet in the hallway and front room, linoleum floors and granite counter tops in the kitchen and tile in the master bathroom. The tile in the bathrooms was ok, but we had to clean after them because they let it a mess. The carpet looked ok but, upon closer inspection had been mis cut near the corner wall of the front room, where they tried to splice in a piece of carpet that was so obvious that it looked like an amateur had done the job. After as we walked in the hallway a few days the carpet pulled away from walls. The linoleum wasn't the exact product that we ordered but, Jorge swore up and down that is what we had asked for and became indignant when we suggested he was wrong and tried to show him the difference, he just didn't get it, a real buffoon. The granite counters were fine but they cut into the wood work of the kitchen window frame as opposed to tailor the granite to fit, who does that? Real shoddy work, a bad look at best. Jorge said they had to do it this way for some reason that didn't really make any sense. While installing the granite they put a big gouge in the kitchen cabinet then used some putty to try to cover it up and they never mentioned it to us, we noticed it later upon closer inspection. When we called about the gouge in the cabinet, Jorge said he didn't know anything about it and denied that they had done it and then subsequently lied and said it was already there (which means he did know about it) and he was very snooty. And to top it off, because we trusted Jorge who comes off as a good christian, which he wears like a badge of honor, we didn't keep a real close eye on their activities and a few times left them alone in the place for 30 minutes or so while they worked in our home. A short time later we noticed that some small valuable things had been stolen, When we asked him about it, Jorge denied it and he got very aggressive with us that we would even suggest such a thing. They were the only ones who were in the place. They did it and hid it. They say they stand behind their work but, this is where the real nightmare begins. If you call unanswered phone calls, them not showing up for adjustment appointments while you sit waiting and arguing about it instead of fixing it, then I guess you can say they stand behind their work, lol. Do not let them in your home you'll be very sorry. It's sad that a person who claims so strongly to be such a good christian is such a liar, thief, shoddy craftsman that hides mistakes and then gives you an attitude and dodges responsibility when asked to correct them. Caution!!! Stay away from this company!!!
I am shopping around for quotes on granite for my kitchen. I decided to stop at lone tree carpets because it was local and I like to shop local businesses. My experience in the store with Sandy was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful. Sandy stated that she needed to take my name and phone number down to provide it to her contractor, so he could give me a call and schedule an appointment for an estimate. It took a few days for Jorge the contractor to give me a call. Jorge asked me when I was available for an estimate and I told him I was available Friday in the morning before noon or after 4 PM as I had a previously scheduled appointment and Jorge does not work on the weekends or evenings. Jorge told me that he would call me Friday morning at 8 o'clock to ask me if I was still available. I asked Jorge if we could just set a scheduled appointment time as I had something else to do that day. Jorge again stated that he would call me at 8 o'clock in the morning on Friday to see if I was still available. At this point, I was a little annoyed that I could not set an appointment time and that I had to wait for another call. Friday morning arrived, I received no call from Jorge at eight in the morning. Jorge called me at 11 o'clock to tell me that he was at my house because we had an appointment at 11 AM. I told Jorge that we did not have an appointment as he did not want to schedule one the last time we spoke and since he did not call me that morning I went along with my day and scheduled other appointments and had errands to run. I am a little disappointed with the customer service that I received by the contractor. Customer service to me is important when you choose to do any type of remodeling of your home. At this point I have chosen to not continue with lone tree carpets and will be looking for a different company for my granite needs.
