I've been trying to call to cancel an appt and can't leave a message. The voicemail says to call back and that the mailbox is full. I don't know how to get ahold of them when they rarely answer the phone.

I'm also another person/victim having the billing issue with this office.I called and specifically requested to make an appointment with Dr. Wilen in September 2021 three months earlier, but later found myself had an appointment with Dr. Kolluru. I thought the text message came to me few hours before the appointment time was a mistake so I still visited the office, which turned out to be the biggest mistake. I asked them if Dr. Wilen was there. They told me Dr. Wilen has not been working there for at least a year. I was very surprised because that's not what they told me when I made the appointment. After confirming that they do take Anthem, I decided to finish my physical exam, which is another wrongful decision I made.After I filled out the form with my personal information, they asked me to wait for the doctor in a small room. Few minutes later they pushed a small equipment into the room and ask me to take off my shirt. I had to admit that it was my first time doing the physical exam in California and small clinic like this so I have no idea what's going on. I respectfully asked them if it was necessary and if it was part of the physical exam, and they told me yes. After I took off my shirt they still told me that it was covered by my insurance so I didn't have to worry about it. When they were putting the equipment on me, I was told that the equipment is for checking my heart. The girl didn't give me a lot of explanation about my result so I patiently wait for the doctor after finished.When the Dr. Kolluru came in, I was told that nothing abnormal to my heart. She asked me if there is anything I feel abnormal or uncomfortable and would like to discuss with her, I told her I feel pretty healthy. We discussed about some concerns I have about my family's cancer history and she told me not to be too worry about it. Then I left the office without doing the blood test that day.On Jan. 2022, I received a mail from the office saying I owe them $21.49. The bill says ECG ROUTINE ECG W/LEAST 12 LDS W/I&R. I asked Anthem about this bill and Anthem told me ECG (or EKG) is not included in the physical exam. After me telling Anthem the story, Anthem kindly help me call the office to figure out the situation. While with me on the call, the Wilen office suddenly raged and told Anthem that it should be part of the insurance and it is on their website. Anthem politely told them it is not the right code and told them he is also trying to help us reach a solution. Wilen office then said the office disagree with Anthem and not going to compromise anything. The office then had to hang up because "there were other patients waiting, and we don't have time for this matter", as they told Anthem.I felt that it is so unfair for me to pay this bill. They told me that it was covered by my insurance and then charge me due to their mistakes. I also not feeling them treating my physical exam seriously, as I then recalled they didn't do any basic measurement such as my weight and heights. I am so regretful that I did not leave the room after finding out they lied to me about Dr. Wilen would come back to work in the office in September and trusted them that they were the professionals and knowing what they were doing.If you have read my post, you have been warned. Just go somewhere else, you deserve better than this.

This office is closed. Signs on the door says call to make an appointment. Calls go to a machine saying don't leave a message. Over 15 days of this. This has prevented my Father in law from getting critical surgery! As we have no access to his medical records. Irresponsible unprofessional abandonment of a patient. Doctor PLEASE find a way to answer your phone or turn your patients over to someone who will!
