I met Alek through a good friend when i was in the process of restoring my 1972 W114, after meeting him and talking to him few times about the car, I decided to have Alek do all the mechanical work on the car during the restoration and i couldn't be happier, i finally found a mechanic that loves what he does and is as picky as me. My W114 came out perfect and looks brand new under the hood. And since then i have taken my E420, 500E, 250C, 280SE 4.5, and my BMW E34 to Alek. Yup, he does more than just Mercedes.
Late summer, in 2021, I saw a MB 500e for sale. Spoke with the then owner and he told me that the Dr., Alek at VIP German in Northridge had done all the work to it to bring it up to specs. I went to see Alek and before we began to talk about the car, he poured me a cup of coffee and pulled up a chair for me. We then began to chat about the car and what he did to it and told me that the car is in the best condition possible and he would guarantee all work he had done to it. As of this writing, my 500e is running as best as it can. I love it so much, that I got a 400e so I can daily drive a W124 with a V8. Alek is almost done with the suspension (already did all fluid services, plugs, wiring and filters, which made it feels like a new car, at 130k miles). Alek really cares not only about your car but also you. I blame him for getting a 3rd W124 (1993 300CE) which he will tackle once my 400e is done. Don't waste your time taking you MB anywhere else. Bring it to the Dr., Alek@VIP German.
I met Alek at a car show couple months ago and once I saw his SL and some of his clients cars , I knew he would be the guy to visit regarding my 83 Diesel. He is a no none sense old school technician who knows mercedes inside out and even took out his flashlight and diagnosed a oil leak on my engine Block at the show. He took his time and didn't Mickey Mouse the fix once I dropped off the car and he did it right by fixing or replacing the bad or about to go bad pieces. Well done Alek. Now my brother is also a customer for his SL !
