My husband and I were unexpectedly hit with a complete home renovation late last year. Old home u003d everything was wrong with it. Everything. It was a daunting task of even trying to wrap our heads around everything that needed to be done, where to go, where to start, what costs would be and so forth. It was an overwhelming and stressful time to say the least. After asking around and not really feeling comfortable with those interactions, I searched online for some assistance -- and let's just say it gave us a big fat hug in the form of Shawn and Leeran Goldin. Since we have dealt with a handful of contractors (I'll spare you of the horrendous details), I can speak confidently and state unequivocally that Goldin is a rare gem. Shawn and Leeran are meticulous to boot, VERY professional and courteous, and just all around reallllllly nice guys. As complete noobs to this world of construction, they were so patient and thorough in answering a gazillion questions and keeping us informed (and calm) through the entire process. They are HIGHLY knowledgeable, honest, caring, and did an incredible job on a complex project that involved planning, extensive demo, rebuilding, renovating, permits/building and safety. Communication was on point consistently -- holidays, after-hours, you name it -- and Shawn and Leeran both are conservative AND realistic with what they quote and anticipate. (My husband and I swear that Shawn has some x-ray vision superpower because he spotted things and pointed out issues within minutes of stepping foot onto the property.) I can assure you that having dealt with so many for our project that GOLDIN stands above the rest and candidly speaking, are the only ones I'd recommend to friends/family. We absolutely adore Shawn and Leeran and after having had so many horrific dealings with other contractors (big and small), I can't imagine trusting a project with anyone else. While working with them, you feel like this is THEIR home -- owning the project from start to finish. Trust me - go with Goldin and spare yourself of months of mishaps and sanity dealing with the unscrupulous companies out there.
