About Far East Massage Woodley
Far East Massage Woodley is a popular massage business known for its friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the variety of massage options available, including deep tissue, Swedish, and foot massages. Many reviews highlight the skilled therapists, especially Angela, who is praised for her strong, professional, and friendly service, often delivering massages that leave clients feeling relaxed and satisfied. Coco is also noted for her magic hands and taking her time to ensure comfort during the massage. The staff’s dedication to customer satisfaction is evident, with management willing to make things right when experiences fall short. For example, one customer received a complimentary massage after an unsatisfactory first visit, and future appointments are expected to be better. Clients also enjoy the availability of late hours, making it convenient to unwind after work. However, some reviews mention minor issues such as language barriers and difficulties with payment machines, which can cause some dissatisfaction. Despite this, many customers still recommend the business and plan to return, especially when requesting specific therapists like Angela or Lisa, who deliver the kind of deep tissue massage that leaves clients feeling sore but refreshed. Overall, Far East Massage Woodley is seen as a place to relax, relieve stress, and enjoy quality massage therapy.
UPDATED REVIEW: Changed my review from ONE star to FOUR stars. The last time I was there, I got the most absolutely mediocre deep tissue massage I've ever had. It barely even qualified as a Swedish massage. I sincerely hope they have spoken with that specific therapist on the matter. That being said, the manager felt bad that I did not enjoy my experience and comped my next massage, which was done by a different therapist, named Lisa, who was extremely strong, extremely versed & extremely professional. I will absolutely be returning and specifically asking for Lisa again. Lisa was able to deliver the kind of hard deep tissue massage that I was looking to get; The kind that is physically painful, and that leaves you sore afterwards. Call me a masochist. No pain, no gain. I did specifically ask for Ashiatsu (Walking on back), but that was not included last time, or I would have left five stars with this review. I will happily update it to five stars if Ashiatsu is performed on my next visit. I appreciate the manager making things right, and wishing to retain my business, since with only two visits to the location and one of them being lackluster, my loyalty WAS in question. I am satisfied that I will continue to get above average massage therapy at this location, and I will happily return.
It must be standard these days to pay first and ask for the tip later. The first thing, I noticed was all the chatter like girls in high school . It seemed there doing a massage was the 2nd thing that mattered. I finally told my person to stop talking as it really bothered my experience. She stopped talking and then started whispering. The other people carried on as if nothing is wrong. Secondly in all other places, you get a basket for your stuff not here. Thirdly, when I went to express my concern on the noise after the massage, she had to call someone else who spoke English. Fourth, usually I am asked about any areas to be concerned. She didn't ask and once she touched it and I spoke up and said that hurts. I said less pressure and she just avoided the area. The massage was decent, but all the other issues were a major concern. She then asked for a tip as she tried to get me to leave . I happen to be a Communication Studies instructor and worked with a lot of English as 2nd language students. The body language and verbal communication send mixed message.
Buyer beware. The first 2 times I went there, it was fine!Unfortunately, the third time, it was awful. I paid for a 60 min massage, and it started at 4:20. The masseuse ended it at 5:05, and then had the audacity to ask for a tip. The foot massage felt like nothing. And the reason I went in there was because I had a sore neck, which didn't get much attention. Very disappointing.
