We had an amazing time at S&D Horseback Riding! We reserved a ride for 8 people for my daughter’s 9th birthday. It was great for all ages. I was nervous that one hour might be too long for my younger riders but it was the perfect amount of time. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We also had a campfire set up after our ride so we could roast hotdogs and s’mores. The kids loved it! It was a really nice way to celebrate. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and the owners were accommodating and kind. I will definitely be back and I absolutely recommend them to others.
It was a great first time experience. I ended up with the cowboy walk. My inter thighs, arms, and neck hurt the next day. I'm probably not a good candidate for horseback riding (too old - 77, and not limber) but recommend you try it even if it's just once. Happy trails to you.
I took my daughter for her 11th birthday. It was an amazing experience & heather was so nice & made sure we were ok throughout the whole time. I will definitely be going back again!
