Today I was a walk-in client. I wasn't the person in need of a haircut - my brother was. He is special needs. They couldn't have been more accommodating and pleasant. Great haircut too. Thank You Kalle.

I am nonbinary and thusly won’t be walking into random barbershops; I do my research first, which is how I initially found Lather & Steel. The first cut I had with this shop was with Mike, who was charming as hell but no longer works there (I hear he’s teaching now, go Mike!) He did a fine job…though Kalle is whom I am here to rave about.
The experience was awkward at first: she hadn’t arrived yet and the other barber was with a client. The resident pooch greeted me in all her pink manicured glory, and we sat on the couch together.
Kalle arrives and talks to the other barber about lack of sleep.

Very nice place. The barber helped my choose the right style for my beard. He was very patient and showed me what my beard looked like at different lengths. I ended going much shorter than expected but I am very happy with the look and so was my wife. I decently be going there for my next trim and so should you.
