Dr. Smith and crew treated Tippy for what turned out to be fleas and allergies to fleas. I thought fleas were nonexistent in Mount Shasta. Wrong! They gave him Revolution and other helpful, lifesaving treatments. This place can be spendy; everybody should have an emergency savings fund for when the SHTF. They taught me how to apply Revolution feline flea medication to YaHabibi, also. This is every month for life for indoor/outdoor cats. My cats are family.
I took my 19-year-old Kitty into Mt Shasta Animal Hospital for her wellness checkup. My concern was she had mats I could not get out myself, due to her age she's stopped grooming herself. The tech was able to shave her without sedation and my kitty it is purring again! The receptionist was friendly and compassionate, the Dr called to tell me the results of the exam. The vet tech was so patient in shaving her and told me what a cooperative patient my kitty was. Check out and payment was quick. I'm very thankful to have my cute lion cut kitty happy again. From check in to check out my experience was 5 stars.
I need to update…
I am now a long time loyal customer of Mount Shasta Animal Hospital. I would be hard pressed to trust another Vet and office with my dear pets. Everyone here is like family and they have treated generations of my dogs, they know them and treat them extremely well!

I have had nothing but good experiences there. Yes, times have changed, it’s hard to get in to every vet in the country. We have to have patience and give the services we have available some Grace.
