“Suzanne and her team at Earthscapes have worked their magic on three of our properties in Los Osos for decades. My husband taught upper division Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly after having worked with an international firm for 40 years. Suzanne was one of his favorite students. When it came time to landscape our home, he called Suzanne. Recently Suzanne designed and installed two major areas around our home. It required some fairly fancy footwork of getting huge boulders into an area with very little access. The two yard areas look fabulous! To make the project even more challenging, the property is on the south end of Morro Bay ON the water so we have winds, salt air, and dare I mention deer and gophers. But gopher baskets seemed to have solved that problem and a little deer repellent seems to be keeping the deer in other yards nearby.

I really appreciate Suzanne's willingness to listen and discuss ideas. I researched plant materials and she was able to get all of the ones that will grow in our climate zone. Her design concept was unique, practical and really beautiful. I love how she understands negative and positive space, colors and textures and is willing to work with a client who is actively involved in the process.

Another feature of our landscape is a section with 75 roses. She understands what they need to thrive, even in our coastal environment, and has the patience to care for them as if they were her own.
