I was introduced to Tapia Construction by our architects, 2M. I can't sing enough of their praises. Having undergone renovations at prior homes, I came to expect: 2x the timeline 2x the cost Nagging staff to show up and the need to micromanage every detail Tapia Construction was a breath of fresh air! We quoted 4 GCs for a kitchen and entry area renovation that required structural work to facilitate. When quoting they weren't the highest nor lowest bid, but they were by far the only partner that invested the time to truly understand our needs and developed a detail project plan. Tapia's attention to detail has been incredible. From proactively and aggressively managing slight imperfections in everything from cabinetry to flooring, they've ensuring a perfect project. The team is incredibly professional, at our home every day by 8AM and even sweeps up after themselves at the end of each shift. While living through a renovation while working from home during a pandemic sounds like a nightmare, the team has proven incredibly professional. They - in partnership with our architect Mark - took insane Pinterest 'inspiration' photos and made them real. To give you a sense, this included: -Custom wood slat wall with seamless magnetic 'cut outs' for shutoff valves -Wine rack wood peg wall -Custom kitchen island with electronics cabinet and automated TV lift -Stairs with built in drawer storage -Home automation system and wiring -Refinishing exterior entry terrazo stairs to create modern fine concrete look. From project manager lead Spencer to mastermind and founder Dave to foreman Matt, the entire team has knocked my socks off. The fact they've done it during challenging conditions, in line with budget and on time (save a couple COVID supplier delays) is that much more impressive. While we now love our space enough to want to stay here for years to come, part of me wants to buy another fixer upper to go through the process again!

Dave and family are amazing! My wife and I had been planning and dreaming about a renovation to our 1,100 Sq. Ft bungalow in RWC for almost 12 years. We thought we had a plan that would work, but 3 contractors in a row gave us bids that killed the project. Dave was last on this list, and when I told him we could not move forward, he suggested an alternate plan at a cost that would work. He was the only one to try and think outside of the box. This did require an architectural overhaul of our plans and we asked our current architect to help. After a couple rounds of new plans where the cost was still too high, Dave suggested we talk to 2M Architecture. Well 2M made all the difference and came up with an amazing plan that solved the one major challenge of our project. At this point the costs lined up and the project was ready to go. I can't say enough good things about Dave and everyone at Tapia Construction. If it were not for Dave and crew, we would still be a family of four living in a tiny 1 bath bungalow. Thanks Tapia Construction!
