This spot is a diamond in the rough!!! Not your run-of-the-mill boogie mall salon - this establishment is far from expensive, and has small neighborhood charm. The salon is open, welcoming and friendly like you would see in a close-nit neighborhood. Maas Hair Salon is conveniently located in the Moreno Valley Mall next to JC Penny. Michelle, who is also the owner, was my stylist, and was very helpful with my decision on which direction to go with my look. Michelle expertly helped explain the previous issues with my color, the steps she would take to fix it, and the after care process. Top notch service!! Pricing was ridiculously generous for a trim, partial highlight and a slight color fix and a complimentary dry/style!!

I had been growing my hair out for at least two years and came here just to clean up my low fade. However, the woman who seemed to be the owner cut my hair unevenly on both sides, with one side not even straight. I had to go to another place the same day to get it fixed. On top of that, I found it very unprofessional that she was on the phone a lot while cutting my hair. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back to this place.

Came in for a haircut and waited a while. A gentleman that came in after me was allowed to cut in front on me (there’s no men’s appointment in this place). Waited another 45 minutes before finally leaving. Won’t return here again.
