In-Shape Family Fitness is a clean and spacious health club in Monterey, offering a variety of fitness options, including studio classes, small group and personal training, sauna, steam room, lap swim, and racket rooms. The club provides childcare services and a pool area where members can relax and socialize. With a range of equipment and machines, the gym caters to diverse fitness needs. Group classes, such as yoga, are popular and well-regarded, with instructors like Mariana and Susana receiving praise for their teaching skills. While some members may find the facility's size limiting or the free weights disorganized, the club's friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenient location make it a recommended destination for those seeking a well-rounded fitness experience.
In-Shape is easily one of the best gyms in the Monterey region. They have an incredible variety of equipment for bodybuilding, athletic training, cardio, and pretty much anything else you could want from a gym.
I’ve only attended the yoga classes so far, but they’ve been excellent, very relaxing and great for stretching, mobility, and recovery. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they also offer a childcare center, which is a great convenience for parents.
The full-size pool and sauna are another huge plus. Overall, In-Shape offers a really well-rounded fitness experience with something for just about everyone.

The gym is great, especially for its cost! But they run too many deals to get people to sign up!! As a result, the gym is REALLY OVERCROWDED. Forget coming in from 5pm - 9pm. Get more machines, there is space to fit them! For a gym this big, only two squat racks???

No nonsense, priced right, super convenient, huge parking lot. As long as I live in this neighborhood, this is my gym. Its busy but there is always enough equipment available to me. Im glad I joined.
