About Carol Hatton Breast Care Center
The Carol Hatton Breast Care Center at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula provides a comprehensive and personalized approach to breast healthcare. Equipped with state-of-the-art digital mammography technology, the center employs a team of experienced breast specialists who strive to create a comfortable, spa-like environment for patients. Reviewers praise the staff's professionalism, empathy, and ability to address all concerns, making the screening process seamless and reassuring, even for first-time patients. However, some have noted significant delays in scheduling appointments, with bookings extending well over a year in advance, which may be a concern for timely access to care.
From the front desk, diagnostic staff, and the doctors, everyone was so friendly and supportive. I am so grateful to have been a patient at this facility. When I was worried I was comforted and even enjoyed some laughs at my appointments. Thanks to the doctors I was fortunate to have caught some unexpected results early, which were quickly diagnosed, and resolved.
My family and I have since moved, and I wish I still had access to the high caliber facility and team that I had with Carol Hatton. Thank you ladies!
Last year I had a bone density test and it was hard to get up so I asked the technician to help me up and she said she couldn't. I thought WHAT!! SHE watched me struggle and I finally got up. The other day I went in for a mammogram and the technician was so sweet and helpful. Her name is Megan and I just want to give her a SHOUT-OUT!! LOVE YOU MEGAN! 🥰
Everything about this place is great: the people who work and volunteer here, the top of the line equipment, the facility is clean, atmosphere is beautiful... however. They simply MUST remove Kansas' 1977 depressive hit "Dust in the Wind" from their playlist. I've heard it there twice now. This is extremely inappropriate for a facility that detects and diagnoses terminal illnesses. Please. Please remove the song from your soundtrack.
