I had my first haircut with Cathy yesterday, and am so glad I found her! She is truly an expert with curly hair and I am very happy with the result. Her one chair salon is a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle and noise level of larger salons. I found Cathy to be kind and sensitive to my needs. She has two small rescue dogs who are sweethearts and rested together in their doggie bed the vast majority of my time there. All of my future haircuts in Monterey will be with Cathy!

One of my Best New discoveries EVER Cathy is kind, caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and probably one of the least judgmental women I've met in quite a long time. She handled my massive amount of hair with a very gentle touch. I'm grateful to meet someone who knows curly hair I hope to be a long time customer & friend of Adore. Sweet, cozy & personal shop. I had a great experience at Adore. It's a one-woman show, which was a nice experience compared to the sometimes loud and overwhelming salon experience. She is certified by DevaCurl which I didn't realize was a thing. She cut my hair dry, which was a great choice and corrected the crooked cut I had received from my last stylist. I also had a partial highlight done which turned out exactly as I wanted. I showed her pictures of the color that I wanted to achieve and she got it to match. I was very happy with the experience and gladly suggest Adore to any curly haired ladies in the area that need a trim or color.
