This place is a hidden gem. Perfect place to relax and get your nails done in a quiet, relaxing environment. I love that Carol takes her time and explains each process. There aren't people talking loudly or strong smells to deal with. You have the place to yourself. Carol is super sweet and easy going. If you have time, book an appointment with her. It's worth it!

Located in a cute little strip commercial area in old town Monrovia, this one-woman, by-appointment-only business is a hit with me! Carol, the nail tech, is also the proprietress, and she obviously can only take one appointment at a time, so you have her all to yourself for however long your service is. But don't worry, this Hong Kong native is lovely, pleasant, charming and speaks very good English! And though the space is small, it doesn't feel cramped or claustrophobic and it never feels toxic! She doesn't do acrylics, but she does pedicures and gel manicures and waxing. It's a good set up she's got there and there's ample private parking in the property. After four years in this town, I have finally found my nail heaven! (Today is my third time here!)

Based on the Yelp reviews, I made an appointment and boy am I glad I did! Carol is very sweet, and she is very talented and experienced with hand/feet/nail care. My pedicure was so relaxing. I felt like a princess. It is very clean and sanitary, and it's just you and Carol, with relaxing music and air conditioning (very welcome on a hot day). Oh, and you can make an appointment for a foot massage only. True heaven!
