Mission Hospital Surgery Center

My mom just has surgery at this center and it was nothing short of spectacular. They have a patient drop off area which is free but there's also paid parking that they validate. The receptionist was very polite and all the nurses working here were so attentive and caring. The waiting area is large and not overcrowded (some of the old reviews complain about a small waiting room but seems like they've renovated). The center is very quiet and clean. My mom stayed overnight and she was so comfortable. The anesthesiologist and doctor were amazing as well. We're so happy she decided to stay here and not at the hospital.

I had my surgery a few weeks ago, right before the Christmas holiday at Mission Surgery Center. This surgical center was very clean, well-organized, and the staff were incredibly nice. The staff do a great job of caring for their patients here by their attentive, friendly, and supportive nature. Before coming to the surgical center, I was very nervous, but once I arrived and got settled in by the staff, I felt feelings of calmness and peacefulness prior to my surgery. After the surgery the nursing staff were very attentive when changing my dressings prior to sending me home. Overall, I felt like I was in the best hands.

Taking your little one in for surgery is never fun. Our 18 month old has been here twice for ear tubes and we've been so happy with the team at Mission Surgery Center. The entire staff knows how to make parents and their kids feel at ease - calm setting, TVs with cartoons and even a teddy bear waiting on the bed. Dr Mundi is a great surgeon, so personable and thorough. The real superhero though is Dr Mentch who has been our anesthesiologist both times. She has a little one herself and asked what videos or music would put our son at ease. She played the music on her phone, handed him the phone and calmly whisked him off to the OR - no tears!
