We just had our sunken and cracked driveway replaced with a better built concrete driveway. I'm very particular in getting into the technical details with contractors on how they are going to build and do things so I can ensure the job is performed per recommended practices and beyond so I can get a product that lasts and lasts, and to detect if a contractor will take shortcuts. I can tell you that this contractor did a phenomenal job and built this driveway perfectly and to last. We had trowelled expansion joints put in on the driveway and they are beautifully done with nice round corners, exceptionally straight lines, and at the proper depth. This is a long overdue review! Froi and his crew, Antonio & Salvador, were the absolute best. We contacted Froi and set-up our initial meet for the following Saturday. Froi was prompt, very professional and listened to what we wanted for our front & side yard. He also brought a book of different pavers, explained the cost differences for us & provided his guidance. Once we decided that we were going to proceed, Froi took measurements and sent over initial CAD designs (our HOA requires this for approval before we can start) which made the process so easy! Froy and his team transformed both our front and backyard. We had a very 90's Arizona flagstone and river rock look going on in the front, and more flagstone with colored concrete in the back. Slate now brings a more modern look both in ledger board around the garage door and planter. Slate tile lines our driveway as well. The backyard has been brought back to life thanks to Froy. He was able to tile directly on top of our existing 25 year old concrete and flagstone. We were ecstatic to not have to tear out the old patio. We originally wanted slate like the front, but Froy steered us to porcelain tile for the durability factor. We chose a grey tile with small accent... read full review
