My tenant reported my house had a wire fire on Sunday August 24, 2026 evening. I remembered 15 years ago I called Anchor Electric Gus Kanakis to upgrade the panel for my rental house. I called Anchor and reported to Gus. He said turned off the circuit right away. He came to the house on time and texted me. He repaired the arced conductor and relanded to a new receptacle. After further examination, determined loads being used were exceeding circuit capacity. My tenant has portable air conditioning, water dispenser, fans in all three bedrooms, lighting, television, and space heater.
